Cellular Release Therapy®

Cellular Release Therapy® is a powerful technique used to release and clear all unresolved events, feelings, beliefs, habits, patterns, blame and punishment of yourself and others from any event in a person’s life, no matter when the event occurred. Whether or not you can consciously remember an event is actually not important, because CRT® enables you to access and work with the subconscious mind, which holds all of the memories from all life events.

The first CRT® session is always an assessment of life events, life issues, relationships, and what the client specifically identifies as topics that they would like to resolve. Some clearing may begin in this first session, if appropriate. Subsequent sessions involve updating the therapist on what the client has noticed between sessions and what new things they would like addressed, following by more clearing, as appropriate.

During the actual clearing process, the facilitator asks permission from the client’s subconscious to release and clear all residual charge. This is done by establishing “Yes” and “No” fingers at the start of the session. Once permission has been received, the therapist directs the subconscious mind to clear the charge from the event. This process is not used for memory recall and allows the client to clear residual charge from even the most difficult experiences without having to re-live the experience, which makes it an especially powerful technique for clients with PTSD.

Requirements for a Skype or Zoom sessions include 1) a stable wifi connection, 2) a space with a couch, recliner, or bed to lie down upon that can be seen easily from the camera on the computer, and 3) two hours of quiet time. It is not preferable to use a phone during these sessions as incoming calls may interrupt the session and bring the client out of the deeply relaxed state that is needed for clearing.

Unfortunately, we live in a world in which its often not ok to feel certain feelings and definitely not ok to express them. We are conditioned in childhood via many sources to hide our real feelings, to suppress them, and sometimes to medicate them with food, alcohol, self mutilation, and other compulsive behaviors. The trauma that we experience at any point in our lives, but especially in childhood, is buried alive, unless we decide that we want to heal it. A landmark research study done in the 1990s at Kaiser Permanente found links between childhood trauma and serious medical conditions and continued trauma into adulthood. (full study here)

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are stressful or traumatic events, including abuse and neglect. They may also include household dysfunction such as witnessing domestic violence or growing up with family members who have substance use disorders. ACEs are strongly related to the development and prevalence of a wide range of health problems throughout a person’s lifespan, including those associated with substance misuse.

ACEs include:

• Physical abuse
• Sexual abuse
• Emotional abuse
• Physical neglect
• Emotional neglect
• Mother treated violently
• Substance misuse within household
• Household mental illness
• Parental separation or divorce
• Incarcerated household member

As the number of ACEs increases, researchers found increasing risk for the following:

• Alcoholism and alcohol abuse
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
• Depression
• Fetal death
• Illicit drug use
• Ischemic heart disease
• Liver disease
• Poor work performance
• Financial stress
• Risk for intimate partner violence
• Multiple sexual partners
• Sexually transmitted diseases
• Smoking
• Suicide attempts
• Unintended pregnancies
• Early initiation of smoking
• Early initiation of sexual activity
• Adolescent pregnancy
• Risk for sexual violence
• Poor academic achievement

A major part of the healing process is investigating and discovering what in your life has been and is currently bringing you pain, and dismantling all of the causes for bringing in these types of experience. We all get to take responsibility for our own lives and what we are manifesting in this lifetime. This is the most empowering realization we can come to, as it enables us to DO something about what we are experiencing, rather than continue to feel victimized by it.

Cellular Release Therapy® is a powerful tool that we at DPPS use to clear all memories and experiences that have been hard or traumatic throughout all lifetimes, as well as any fears, beliefs, blame or punishment of ourselves or others that has resulted from these. The subconscious mind holds all memories and all of the details of these events, and thus all the charge from these experiences can be cleared, even if the client has no conscious memory of them. Because the client does NOT have to remember everything in order to do the clearing, CRT® is especially helpful for clearing events with significant trauma associated with them, such as childhood sexual abuse, incest, and physical or emotional abuse or neglect.

Many people come into our office not knowing what to expect or how they will feel differently after doing a clearing using CRT®. After the clearing of the trauma, people often report feeling lighter, calmer, sleeping better, having less pain in their bodies, eating better, having less desire to drink or use coping mechanisms that they have used to years, and most importantly- when they think about the events of their lives that they have cleared, they report feeling at peace and that they have no charge around the events.

As people do their healing, they quickly come to realize that all things can be healed. The first step is recognizing that there is something there that wants to be healed, and deciding to do something about it. Once that decision has been made, a beautiful journey of finding oneself again begins.

body-remembers

There has been much buzz recently on the internet about trauma and stress and their effect on the physical body. Researchers have found strong relationships between childhood traumas and many disease processes, including ischemic heart disease, cancer, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, autoimmune diseases, and more. And every additional trauma we have during our lives creates new problems in the body and, often, in the subconscious.

At DPPS, we help clients successfully address the physical components of traumas, old and new, with advanced techniques such as Proprioceptive-Deep Tendon Reflex®. However, even with a wonderful healing environment, a well-meaning and skilled therapist, and a client who is very open to healing on multiple levels, sometimes the deeper layers of these traumas remain locked in the subconscious and continue to trigger emotional and physical pain.

Chronic pain always has strong emotional trauma components. There is often an emotional charge around the initial trauma or onset of physical symptoms that can remain for years. Additionally, there can be a number of emotional traumas that snowball afterwards, such as hearing a diagnosis, feeling disempowered or “broken,” living in a state of fear that the symptoms will never improve, etc. The medical community can even offer treatment options, and yet the person only feels overwhelmed and confused, hopeless, or full of despair. These sorts of powerful negative emotional states can impede the healing process dramatically.

CRT® allows for the clearing of the initial traumatic experience, all related experiences of hearing about the condition, living in pain, thinking or talking about symptoms, all experiences of hearing statistics and prognoses, reading about their condition on the internet, etc. Beliefs and fears about outcomes and treatments can be dismantled and cleared with this therapy, leaving the person open to more options for healing, and making the whole healing process less frightening and traumatic.

CRT® allows for deeper clearing and resolution of specific traumas, repressed memories, and destructive beliefs. This is accomplished through a series of questions and instructions spoken directly to the subconscious mind while the client is in a deeply relaxed state. The subconscious mind knows everything that has happened to us. It knows how to heal and effortlessly transform whatever traumatic experiences, upsetting feelings and sabotaging habits we have. This transformation usually happens without having to re-experience the original trauma. This process works by releasing from the client’s subconscious and cellular memories those beliefs, experiences, feelings, habits, and imprints connected with a specific theme. (This theme is developed out of the dialogue at the beginning of each session.)

The vast majority of our clients are conscious of how their emotional state affects their pain. They will often describe how symptoms manifest when visiting family, returning to work, having difficult conversations, etc. If this sounds familiar, we can help. Please get in touch with us for a free phone consultation.

One of the most important concepts we convey to our clients engaged in a deep healing process is that our outer relationships with people, whether a source of love or of conflict, are reflections of our own inner dynamics. In other words, our relationship with ourselves will always be the energetic template on which every outer relationship is based. This means, of course, that the experiences we have interacting with family, friends, significant others, colleagues, and even complete strangers provide valuable clues as to what needs to be healed within our own subconscious. We can then use that information to become more aware of how we are treating ourselves. For example example, if we recognize a pattern of feeling or being rejected by others, we would do well to explore all the ways we have rejected ourselves. Similarly, if we ignore our own feelings, are harshly critical or judgmental of ourselves, continually sabotage our health, it’s a sure bet that these patterns will continually play out in our lives.

Healing Difficult Relationships with CRT®

Understanding this, we can see how engaging in a process of self exploration and healing is critical when working to heal relationships between two people. Using Cellular Release Therapy®, we can clear all the habits and patterns a person has of treating themselves poorly, the predominant feelings they experiences (e.g. shame, guilt, regret), fears and beliefs, and more. We can then clear all the negative experiences, feelings, and traumas from past and present relationships such as physical and/or emotional abuse, specific incidents such as fights or arguments, patterns of behavior, painful experiences, blame, and anything else causing strain in the current relationship of interest. We often exhibit the same patterns in all of our relationships, not just romantic relationships, and all of these can be cleared and healed as well. By starting with healing for the primary relationship (the relationship with the Self), and then clearing from the subconscious all negativity around previous relationships, our clients notice dramatic shifts throughout their lives, including in the specific relationship for which they are seeking resolution.

So many of us have tried numerous diets, fitness plans, programs, surgeries, mental strategies, and behavioral strategies in order to lose weight and have the body that we think is acceptable, will be loved, or looks good naked. Many people also lose weight, and then regain it fairly quickly, because the underpinnings of what has created the excess weight has not been addressed completely. All of our failed attempts to lose weight and keep it off create more and more feelings of discouragement, self hatred, shame, fear, and despair.

Weight and eating issues are usually deep issues that require a lot of clearing of trauma, as people tend to accumulate extra weight on their bodies or starve themselves as protection, and often as a part of a pattern of sabotaging or punishing oneself for perceived misdeeds. Often when people have longstanding weight and eating issues, there are many experiences of eating too much or too little, shaming themselves in some way, binging, purging, talking negatively to themselves, thinking that they are bad or not good enough, and other experiences like this. Feelings of shame, guilt, anxiety, grief, and self-hatred are very helpful to clear. Many people have a lot of beliefs about what does and doesn’t work when trying to lose weight based on what they have tried themselves, heard in the media or from friends as well as related fears about all of this. Eating too much is very suppressive and comforting in some way for many people, and the habits and patterns of doing this can be cleared, as well as the trauma that is causing the need for this habit and pattern. When all of this has been addressed, it becomes much easier for people to adopt healthier lifestyles that result in a healthy weight.

Addressing the Causes of Extra Weight in The Body With Emotional Clearing

The most helpful technique that we have found to address all of these contributing factors is Cellular Release Therapy®. CRT® allows for deeper clearing and resolution of specific traumas, repressed memories, and destructive beliefs. Addiction is a condition that results when a person ingests a substance (e.g., alcohol, cocaine, nicotine) or engages in an activity (e.g., gambling, sex, shopping) that can be pleasurable but the continuation of which becomes compulsive and interferes with ordinary responsibilities and concerns, such as work, relationships, or health.

Treating Addictions with Cellular Release Therapy®

Addictions of any kind are always an attempt to fill a hole, fill the emptiness, and manage deeply painful feelings. Drugs and alcohol are very suppressive, and this suppression is a temporary relief from the pain. People with addictions have not learned other ways to manage anxiety, stress, grief, fear, or anger, and its critical to their recovery for learn how to meet their needs and feel their feelings without the use of the substance or behavior. Without resolving the causes of the addiction, people also often switch from one addiction to another, relapse, or become poly-addicted.

Cellular Release Therapy® is a powerful technique for use in the treatment of addictions because it can direct the subconscious mind to go to the causes of the addiction itself and clear them from the subconscious mind. Commonly the causes of addiction are childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect, and these experiences and all resultant feelings, beliefs, and blame and punishment of oneself and others can be cleared. Once all of the trauma is cleared, habits and patterns and all need to use the substance or behavior to manage their feelings can be cleared as well.

While this trauma is being cleared, there will be the opportunity for the client to learn new ways of dealing with their pain. At DPPS, we work with clients healing addictions only if they are in a recovery process and using a 12- step program like Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous. These programs provide incredible support for people who are serious about their recovery. It can be very comforting for people to hear the experiences and feelings of people who are also in recovery and learning how to live life in a new way without the drugs, alcohol, or addictive behavior. Therapy is necessary as well, so that the client learns how the addiction has been serving them, protecting them, and filling their needs, and begins to develop new ways of meeting those needs.

If a person is ready for these deep shifts to occur, and is willing to work within the 12 step process, healing from addictions is incredibly transformative and the effects of this recovery also affect every single person in the addict’s life immensely. CRT® is also extremely beneficial for the people who have been supporting the person with the addiction, as the caregivers of addicts have their own painful experiences and patterns of behavior, such as co-dependency, that can be resolved. And once both the addict and the loved ones around the addict start this process of healing, every single person begins to see that all things can be healed, restoring hope to the entire family.

1. How many sessions does this process take?
This is highly dependent on each client and how much they would like to resolve, but in general most people know whether or not this type of work is helpful for them after 2-3 sessions.

2. How much do these sessions cost?
Each session is two hours long, and costs $220, payable via an invoice from Quickbooks if done via Zoom, or cash, check, or credit card if paid in person. There is a $20 discount if you pay in cash.

3. What if I can’t relax? What if I can’t be hypnotized?
All hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis. This form of therapy uses guided relaxation, in which the client is invited to relax as much as they are able. Most people are able to easily sink down into a relaxed state, and a lot can be accomplished even if the conscious mind is still active.

4. How do I respond to the questions asked during the clearing?
The facilitator will establish “yes” and “no” fingers at the start of the session, and then ask a series of questions of the client. When using “yes” and “no” fingers, all the client has to focus on is whether or not the “yes” finger or the “no” finger is light and easy to lift. Whichever finger feels like lightest and easiest to lift can then be picked up easily and gently and put back down with each question that is asked of the subconscious mind.

5. What should I expect after a session?
This also varies by client. Some people feel an immediate lightness and ease, and feel more resolved about the event that they were doing work on. Other people need a few days for the work to integrate. Self care after a session is very important. The therapist may give homework or suggestions for help integrating the work.

6. How does this differ from other forms of therapy?
This kind of work allows the person to go into a very deep and thorough healing process, and helps to clear things that talk therapy, counseling, EMDR, body work, and other forms of trance work cannot access. These other forms of therapy are very useful to clients, but in our experience, CRT® is the most effective and thorough way to resolve these deep issues.

7. Am I a good candidate for this therapy?
This therapy is best suited for people with unresolved trauma, relationships, painful memories, physical or emotional distress, and those who recognize that something is not working well for them in their lives. and would like to see that shift.

This therapy is not suited for those with diagnosed mental illness that have been hospitalized, addicts who are not in recovery, or people who are looking for a quick fix.

8. How do I prepare for this appointment?

Once you have scheduled with our online system, choosing either Emotional Clearing In Office session or Zoom session, you will need to complete this form in preparation for your session and email it back to the provider with whom you have made the appointment. When making the list of experiences that have been difficult for you, you can leave off any experiences of sexual abuse of any kind, because it is better to address these kinds of experiences once the session has started.
