At DPPS, we use Anatomy in Motion™ and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment® to help build a picture of your functionality and to guide treatment. The way you walk tells a story about what your body is doing well and where it is begging for attention. With every step, your brain is processing enormous amounts of data and using it to execute movement. When the brain receives bad data from areas of dysfunction, it strategically alters its movement strategies, and those changes become apparent to the trained eye. When combined with information about your ability to perform basic standing movement patterns without pain, our therapists then have a wealth of information on which they can build a treatment plan.
At Denver Pain and Performance Solutions, we use a number of advanced techniques to eliminate pain, improve performance, and restore healthy movement.
